9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

Today the Mount Laurel Fire Department hosted a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony held at the Fire Station at 69 Elbo Lane.

Twenty years ago, the tragedy of September 11, 2001, changed the course of the 21st century. The day stands apart in our collective history as a moment of national mourning and of our togetherness as Americans. We will always remember and never forget the innocent lives lost that day, and the heroism of our first responders.

We thank the members of our community who attended today’s ceremony, including Fire Chief Burnett and and those at the Mount Laurel Fire Department, officers from the Mount Laurel Police Department, first responders and the Mount Laurel Office of Emergency Management, Mayor Steglik, Deputy Mayor Pritchett, Councilwoman Janjua, Councilwoman Cohen, Assemblywoman Carol Murphy, and local officials.
